You can get Sweeps Coins (SC) without buying anything by claiming a sign-up bonus, collecting daily rewards, joining promotions, referring friends, and sending a mail-in request. At SpinSaga, new players start with 100,000 Gold Coins + 5 SC, with no purchase necessary.
Sweeps Coins are the currency you use for sweepstakes play, and eligible SC winnings can be redeemed for prizes. Gold Coins are for fun play only. If you're new to the two currencies, read our guide to Gold Coins vs Sweeps Coins.
Why Can You Get Sweeps Coins for Free?
US sweepstakes law says no purchase can be required to take part or win. That's why every sweepstakes casino must offer free ways to get SC, and why buying Gold Coins is always optional. Learn more about how sweepstakes casinos work.
8 Ways to Get Free Sweeps Coins
1. Claim Your Sign-Up Bonus
Create an account and claim the welcome offer. At SpinSaga, that's 100,000 GC + 5 SC, with no code needed. See our guide to sweepstakes casino no deposit bonuses.
2. Log In Every Day
Most sites reward you just for logging in. Make it a daily habit with SpinSaga's daily login bonus.
3. Spin the Daily Wheel and Join the Prize Ball
Free daily spins and draws are an easy extra. Compare them in our guide to the Lottery vs Daily Wheel, and see how the Prize Ball works.
4. Catch Limited-Time Promotions
Time-limited events can boost selected rewards. SpinSaga Happy Hour, for example, adds a multiplier (often 2X) while the timer runs.
5. Refer Your Friends
Invite friends with your personal link and earn SC when they join and qualify. Get your link on the Refer a Friend page.
6. Send a Mail-In Request
Every sweepstakes casino offers a free Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE). At SpinSaga, you start a mail-in request from the My Promotions page and follow the Sweepstakes Rules exactly. You can make a request once a week.
7. Follow Official Social Media
Many sites run giveaways and contests on their official social channels. Only take part through the casino's verified accounts.
8. Earn Loyalty Rewards
Regular play can unlock ongoing rewards. See how rakeback and VIP tiers work at SpinSaga.

Before You Redeem Your SC
Free SC comes with a few rules:
• Play it through: bonus SC usually needs to be played before it can be redeemed. See what wagering requirements are.
• Watch expiry dates: unused coins can expire. See how expiration dates affect promotions.
• Verify your identity and meet the minimum before redeeming. See how to redeem Sweeps Coins.
Avoid Free SC Scams
There's no such thing as a free SC generator, cheat code, or "hack." These are scams designed to steal your details. Only claim free SC through the casino's own site, app, or official channels. Our guide to sweepstakes casino hacks explains the warning signs.
